Loading the Members List
If you already have a list of members in a computer-readable form such as a spreadsheet
or database then the best way to initially populate your DutyMan list of members is to use
that information to create a CSV file in
DutyMan format. Then upload that file to
DutyMan.
If you do not have a list of members on a computer in a suitable format then you
can create one by using a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel or a database such
as Microsoft Access.
Alternatively you can type in your member information via the Members List page
of the DutyMan administrator's area.
DutyMan recommends that you populate your members list with all your membership
rather than restrict it to those with duties. That way members will be available
for future duty allocation, the DutyMan Directory and the DutyMan Mailer. Once populated
you can maintain the list either online or by re-uploading.
Standard Member Information
The standard information that DutyMan supports includes
- Member first and last names
- Email address
plus optionally
- Phone numbers
- Postal address
Additional Member Information
You can define additional items of member information to customise DutyMan to your requirements.
